 We are seeking an enthusiastic, caring, committed AMI trained UE Director/ Directress to join our collaborative team of educators led by an AMI trained administrator, who supports on going professional development.  The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s Degree or higher along with AMI 6-12 training, be a strong communicator, well organized, and compassionate educator.

Kendalwood Montessori & Elementary School provides Montessori educational programs to
children from 9 months of age through 14 years of age. Established in 1994, the school has seen
significant growth and has a student population of 165 and a staff of 35. We are actively
seeking a qualified teacher to join the Elementary division for a new classroom opening in
September 2020.

Reporting directly to the Principal and/or Head of Elementary, this individual will be responsible
for opening a Lower Elementary classroom. Initially capped at 12 students, it will be solely
taught by the lead teacher. Preparation for this position will include material making, sourcing
materials and partial employment over the summer months.

Qualifications and Experience
1. Certification in 6-9 through an accredited college (MACTE, AMI)
2. At least 5 years teaching experience
3. Up-to-date vaccination record and 2 step TB Test
4. Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Record Check
5. Standard First Aid and CPR, Level C

Taddle Creek is looking for a Montessori Elementary teacher who has the knowledge and skills necessary to follow the philosophy as set forth by Dr. Montessori.
