LEVELS OF MEMBERSHIP

The Canadian Association of Montessori Teachers offers 3 types of membership.

Full Membership is open to Montessori diploma holders. Full membership privileges include full voting rights, the opportunity to join the Board of Directors, as well as qualifying for all benefits of membership outlined below.

Associate Membership is open to Montessori teaching assistants, other educators, administrators, related professionals, student teachers and anyone else who does NOT hold a Montessori diploma. NOTE: Associate members do not hold voting rights with CAMT and cannot be elected to the Board of Directors, however qualify for all other benefits of membership outlined below.

Student Membership s open to any student enrolled in a Montessori Teacher Training Institute. NOTE: Student members do not hold voting rights with CAMT and cannot be elected to the Board of Directors, however qualify for all other benefits of membership outlined below. Students are required to submit a letter from their training institute confirming their status as a student.

• CAMT's goal is to provide continuing professional development opportunities for Montessori teachers in order to maintain high quality education within the teacher's Montessori environment
• Networking opportunity to meet qualified Montessori teachers from across Canada
• Reduced rates when registering for CAMT conferences and workshops
• Receive CAMT Newsletter, which provides updates and articles pertaining to the Montessori community
• Receive support and direction from fellow Montessori teachers
• Option to participate in group health/dental benefit program - at a reduced rate for CAMT members

Membership Term: September 1, 2011 until August 31, 2012
- Full Membership $60.00
- Associate Membership $60.00
 - Student Membership (with letter from training institute) NO COST
